Volunteering Experience (Coding workshop for newbies)

We had conducted a workshop for all the standard 1 and standard 2 students in our school to them a better understanding about coding and STEM related activities. Our activity had been conducted for 4 days started from 28 January 2019 until 31 January 2019. The purpose of this activity is to get some new members to join the school's TRANSFORMASI Club. As a volunteer, my responsibility was to manage the flow of activity and coach the new students about basic of coding.

The kit that we used to coach the students was Arduino. We gave them a simple explanation about how the microprocessor, how the circuit flow in the breadboard and introduced the name of components to them. The students were work in group of two and It was the first time they were explored to technology. I could feel their excitement of learning about coding.

After the workshop, we also did a google form for those who were interested to join our club. Apart of that, we also did another survey to collect their feedback so that we can make the activity more attracted next time.
