What is ProTech?
ProTech is an automatic device that will detect the API (Air Pollution Index) reading and provide masks for users when the API reading is high.
Why ProTech?
Low Health Conscious
Health consciousness among people in Malaysia is a mix with the rural areas being lower than urban areas. Thus, they needed a tool to keep people more informed on haze conditions and able to tell when to wear a mask .
Lack of localized monitoring station
The absence of a localized air pollutant detector station in Sekinchan causes people there can't know the instant API reading. Besides, haze is occurring yearly in Malaysia with no sign of cease.
